Praises to Karen! My brother in law visited from Florida this past weekend. He loved the bathroom that Karen did in a wonderful layered plaster treatment. Our Services

Karen DiAngelo of Walls “Faux” You uses her art training, color and sense of style to provide traditional straight painting of walls, ceilings and millwork as well as designing unique and exquisite decorative finishes for walls, ceilings, furniture or complete refinishing of kitchen or bath cabinetry in either newly constructed or remodeled homes.

Karen has had extensive experience in commercial projects working with developers in the Seattle area. She was in charge and executed the 8,000 sq. foot faux finish of the E.E. Robbins Jewelry Store ceiling in Tukwila, 40 fireplace surrounds at the Plaza Del Sol in Seattle and the restoration and re-creation of an original 1928 faux finish at the Sheffield Bldg. on Capital Hill in Seattle as well as the Harrison Bldg. lobby.

Faux Finishing

Karen will coordinate your project with your new or existing décor and will provide color consultation to bring cohesiveness and beauty to all aspects of your room. We will work independently or in conjunction with your interior designer or contractor to bring your “Visions” to life.

Walls “Faux” You will create color, texture, depth and dimension with the use of professional paints, glazes, set coats, European plasters and stencil embellishments to coordinate with all existing surfaces in the room. Lighting, scale, existing décor and ambiance are always considered in choosing a technique.

Pricing

An initial consultation during which client expectations and needs are defined is usually on site.  At this time the interview process progresses for both parties.  This appointment usually does not exceed one hour.

Our fee is currently $175.00 to $250.00 per hour.  Flat rates are also available.

After the initial consultation a Letter of Agreement between the client and Walls Faux You will define the scope of work and terms and conditions.  A non-refundable retainer is applied to work completed as defined by the “Letter of Agreement.”  Flat rates for design services, such as color consultation, are available. 

A written Confirmation of Order is required for all purchases.
